Calculation of Short-Circuit Current in DC Distribution System Based on MMC Linearization

چکیده

The calculation of the short-circuit current is an important basis for fault detection and equipment selection in DC distribution system. This paper proposes a linearized model modular multilevel converter (MMC) considering different grounding methods failure scenarios. can be used conditions before MMC’s block. Under forms, has manifestations. analyzes models network with two types faults: inter-pole short circuit single-pole circuit. Among them, modeling analysis uses method common- differential-mode (CDM) transformation. To solve such model, analytical proposed. As mean evaluating effectiveness accuracy proposed solution compared to produced by PSCAD/EMTDC. A comparison results reveals efficacy model.
